Play For Emily Golf Tournament and A Night For Emily

The Wade family and the Greenville, New Bern, Washington and Wilmington McDonald's Owner-Operators in cooperation with the Ronald McDonald Houses of Chapel Hill, Durham and Greenville, are proud to host the 7th Annual Play for Emily Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, NC.

When Emily Ann Wade was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, Emily and her family were blessed by the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill’s overwhelming support. After Emily’s untimely death, the family wished to preserve the bond and somehow repay a fraction of what they received.  The Play for Emily Golf Tournament was created in 2004 as a way for family and friends to give back to an organization that helped them in their time of need.

Also, a new addition to the exciting weekend this year is A Night For Emily, taking place on Sunday, September 23 at 6:00pm at the Mayfaire Towncenter in Wilmington, NC. Tickets to this exciting event are $25 a person/$40 a couple and include food and drinks, live entertainment, and a silent and live auction.
