What We Do

The Ronald McDonald House of Durham operates two programs to support families in their time of medical crisis: a housing program for families that must travel long distances for their children to receive treatment, as well as a Family Room in Duke Medical Center to allow families to escape the hospital atmosphere but remain steps from their child’s bedside. 

Whether it is our famous Thursday night Bingo games, free computer and laundry facilities or caring staff and volunteers, our families know Ronald McDonald House of Durham will be there to support them so they can focus on the well-being of their critically ill child.
